I.          Company membership to the Pacific Asia Travel Association Philippine Chapter must meet the following:

1. Filled up form through the given link
2. 2023 Business Permit issued by your LGU. (You may submit the receipt if the application is still on process)
3. Official/Alternate representatives must be in the executive positions and able to make final decisions in behalf
4. BIR Registration
5. Updated DTI Certificate / SEC General Information Sheet
6. Updated DOT Accreditation
7. Approval of PATAPHIL Board of Trustees

Furthermore requirements stated for each industry as enumerated below must likewise be met for membership

A.      EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

• must be officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education
• must offer either a Tourism or HRM Baccalaureate Program, or both
• must offer a Masters Program in either Tourism or HRM or both
• must have at least Level 1 Accreditation by PACUCOA (Phil. Assoc of Colleges and Universities Committee on Accreditation) of its Tourism or HRM Baccalaureate Program, or both

B.      HOTEL AND RESORTS

• must be in full operation of at least one (1) year
• must be accredited with the Department of Tourism
• Endorsement from HRAP/HSMA regular members

C.     GOVERNMENT OFFICE

• must be accredited with the Department of Tourism
• Endorsement from HRAP/HSMA regular members

D.     TRANSPORTATION

• must have commercial operation for air or land or sea
• Must be currently in compliance to the Chapter V Standard Requirements for Tourist Land Transport Vehicles; Chapter VI Standard Requirement for Tourist Water Transport Vessels; Chapter VII Standard Requirements for Tourist Air Transport of the Rules and Regulations to Govern the Accreditation of Travel and Tour Services for tourist transport vehicles.

E.      TRAVEL AGENCY/TOUR OPERATOR

• Must be a member of a travel industry association that is reputable and recognized by the Department of Tourism or accredited by the same
• Must have a legal office in a commercial area or in the Commercial Section of a residential Area. Office of Travel Agency should be detached or independent from the residence of the owner.

F.      ALLIED SERVICES

• Must have business related to the travel and hospitality industry as evidenced by proof of transactions

II.           Individual membership to the Pacific Asia Travel Association Philippine Chapter who does not fall in any of the 6 regular group categories but whose work is related to the travel industry are allowed to join the PATA and meet the following:

1. Two (2) copies of duly accomplished Application Form
2. Formal letter of application on company letterhead stating the purpose of joining the
3. Must be a Tourism Practitioner for at least three (3) years (proof must be provided)
4. DOT accreditation (if applicable)
5. ITR of current year
6. Approval of PATAPHIL Board of Trustees
